Sammie Okposo to perform at Tope Alabi’s concert amid cheating scandal:

Gospel artiste Sammie Okposo with other colleagues are billed to grace the annual gospel concert organised by popular gospel singer, Tope Alabi tagged ‘Praise the Almighty’.

The 2022 edition, according to Alabi, holds at the Police College, Ikeja Lagos on Sunday, February 20.

The Wellu Wellu master, as he is fondly called, has been at the centre of controversy when apologised for an affair with an American in the last trip in the now-deleted Instagram post.

 

The Nation observed in the early hours of Wednesday, January 26, the apology post has disappeared from his verified Instagram page @Sammieokposo.

Following the confession, Dunamis International Gospel Centre deleted his name from the list of gospel artists slated to minister at a concert on Friday, January 28.

Other gospel singers, including Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin Oyekan, Judikay and Enikay are also billed to grace Tope Alabi’s concert.The Nation observed that Alabi has started a countdown on her Instagram page with many of her fans looking forward to attend.

In a flier shared on her Instagram page, she said: “Friends, are you ready to be part of ‘Praise the Almighty 2022’? We are glad and honoured to have some of the amazing Ministers of the Gospel at this year’s edition. @pastorpoju, @nathanielblow, @dunsinoyekan, @officialjudikay, @officialenkay, @sammieokposo @spiritofsaco. Date – 20th of February, 2022, Venue – Police College Ground, GRA, Ikeja. Start time – 2pm prompt Nigerian time. Mark your calendar.”
