EPL: Arsenal player tells Arteta to terminate his contract

Arsenal defender, Hector Bellerin, wants his contract at the club terminated so he can return to Spain, the UK Sun reports.

Bellerin spent last season on loan at Real Betis but has returned to the Emirates this summer.

With the fullback effectively the third choice behind Takehiro Tomisayu and Cedric Soares, he is desperate to leave again on a permanent basis this time.

However, Betis is struggling to agree on a fee with Arsenal for Bellerin and the player wants to make the transfer happen more smoothly.

Barcelona is also interested in their former player.

It is understood both clubs are prepared to wait until September 1, convinced Arsenal will allow him to leave as a free agent.

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, is ready to approve the termination of Bellerin’s contract with the club and has not included him in any of his matchday squads this season.
